On November 17, the ESL department hosted a visit from five District 211 high school English as a Second Language teachers. Teachers from Schaumburg HS, Palatine HS, Hoffman Estates HS, Fremd HS, and Conant HS visited four different ESL classes representing ESL levels three, four, and five.
Additionally, teachers got a hands-on tour of the language lab, reviewed student work, and discussed a path for student success with Harper ESL faculty.

The International Students’ Club went to Springfield on Friday, November 19th. They toured the Abraham Lincoln Museum, the Old State Capitol, and the Lincoln home. Forty-eight students were accompanied by three faculty members: Sarah Mikulski, Nancy Moore, and Alice Roberts.
